Welcome to the Home of the Penn State Baseball Club Division II Team
It is almost time for baseball again in 2019 and the Penn State Baseball Club Division II team is ready for the upcoming season. After a strong season in 2018 that saw the team claim the New Penn Central Conference title and a mid-season number 1 national ranking, the PSBC D II is looking to make a national championship run. With a fresh crop of new coaches and talent, they will start the season in Tampa during the first week of March before moving onto conference play. As always, we are looking forward to an exciting and competitive season with hopes for a ring.

Season to start March 4th, 2019
The team will be heading down to Plant City, Florida once again for the annual NCBA Spring Training showcase the first week of March. Last year, both PSBC teams finished the week undefeated with multiple wins in ranked match-ups. After Florida, the team will head home and will play series away at Bucknell and Bloomsburg. This season, the PSBC DII will face Akron, Kent State, and Cleveland State at Teener Field.

PSBC D2 Thrives in Spring Training

The PSBC D2 team went 5-0 in Florida this past week, defeating Bowling Green, Xavier, Southern Illinois, Western Michigan and Toledo. Great showing from the rookies, looking to carry momentum into Akron.

PSBC D2 Adds to Roster

PSBC D2 added 9 new players to the roster this season. Jack Carpenter (OF), Andrew Collins (RHP/INF), Kevin Downs (C), Kyle Feasby (UTIL), Ryan Giordani (SS/2B), David Klein (OF/DH), Zach Mayer (LHP), and Aaron O'Donnell (RHP) add talent to get the squad back to Kansas.

The PSBC D2 season came to an end in a 5-3 loss to West Virginia University in a rain-shortened regional tournament. The Nits will reload and be back in the fall to start off another attempt at their second national title.

The PSBC D2 clinched its 9th straight conference championship with a sweep of Bucknell on the Weekend. The Lions are currently 9-1 in conference play.

CJ Downey (RHP), Jake Pasquale (LHP), James Heaven (RHP), Nick Evans (RHP), Blake Rohrbaher (C/1B), Brett Altland (OF), Bron Seaman (3B), Kyle Hemscher (1B), Nick Dermo (OF), Max Edgin (C), Tyler Myers (2B), Will Buddock (OF) and Zac Ripka (C/1B) look to help the squad get back to Kansas. Fall League Meeting 9/7 Thu. 9/1/2016
The informational fall league meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7th in 112 Chambers at 7pm. Anyone interested in trying out for the team should come to this meeting.

PSBC D2 Wins District I Championship Fri. 5/20/2016
With a win against Fordham, and two wins against SUNY - Oneonta, theD2 Penn State Baseball Club was able to clinch the District I title and punch its ticket to Pittsburg, KS for the World Series. This will be Penn State D2's eighth consecutive trip to the series. the PSBC D2 will enter the tournament as the #1 seed.
