2016-2017
Following Josh Jaskowiak's retirement, Dom Continenza was promoted to Head Coach of Penn State D2 in the fall of 2016. He looks to lead the team's fresh talent back to Pittsburg, Kansas for the franchise's 9th straight World Series appearance. In his free time Dom can either be found outside the Willard building retelling stories of the Philadelphia Phillies historic 2008 playoff run or hanging out at his favorite downtown State College establishment: The Lion's Den.
2015-2016
Dom Continenza joined the PSBC coaching staff in December of 2015. Prior to coming on board with Penn State D2, Continenza was a part of the varsity pitching staff for a very successful Penn State Berks team. His background in pitching allows him to serve as the team's first documented pitching coach. In his first year as the staff's pitching coach, Penn State D2 posted a team ERA of 2.08 on the season.
Dom's knowledge of the game does not end with just pitching, for he is known by many for his overwhelmingly impressive skills with the fungo. Dom also brags of his wiffle ball skills and his legendary wiffle ball perfect game (which was fortunately documented on ESPN 8, The Ocho). He takes pride in his facial hair as well, but the question is, can he outcompete Derek Charlie for best beard on the team?
